Vous est-il d\u00e9j\u00e0 arriv\u00e9 d'\u00e9couter un caisson de graves qui n'avait ni dynamique, ni impact, ni d\u00e9finition ? En fait, le placement d\u2019un caisson de graves dans une pi\u00e8ce, un club, sur une sc\u00e8ne ou simplement au sol constitue un aspect essentiel de la gestion des basses fr\u00e9quences. Essayons d\u2019abord de comprendre pourquoi. Ensuite, nous expliquerons comment trouver le meilleur emplacement pour un caisson de graves par rapport aux murs avoisinants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rayonnement sonore du caisson de graves<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Rappelons d'abord que le son se propage diff\u00e9remment selon les fr\u00e9quences. Comme les caissons de graves ne g\u00e9n\u00e8rent que des basses fr\u00e9quences, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement bien en dessous de 200 Hz, tous les types de conception de caisson de graves (\u00e0 l'exception des solutions cardio\u00efdes) produisent un rayonnement sonore omnidirectionnel. Cela implique que l'\u00e9nergie sonore se propage dans toutes les directions, vers le public mais aussi vers toute structure dure et massive situ\u00e9e derri\u00e8re le caisson de graves. Ainsi, le son r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi par le mur \u00e0 cette fr\u00e9quence sp\u00e9cifique annulera le rayonnement direct du caisson de graves de la m\u00eame fr\u00e9quence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Rappelons ici la d\u00e9finition de la vitesse du son. La vitesse du son C (au niveau de la mer, \u00e0 21 degr\u00e9s Celsius (70 degr\u00e9s Fahrenheit) et dans des conditions atmosph\u00e9riques normale) est de <strong>344 m\/s <\/strong>(1128 ft\/s) et est d\u00e9finie par C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>C = f \u03bb,<\/strong>  o\u00f9 f repr\u00e9sente la fr\u00e9quence et \u03bb la longueur d\u2019onde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette \u00e9quation nous permet de trouver facilement le quart de longueur d'onde pour une fr\u00e9quence donn\u00e9e. Par exemple, la note la plus basse sur une guitare standard (corde de mi grave \u00e0 vide) est d'environ 83 Hz. Le quart de la longueur d\u2019onde est donc de 1,0 m (3,3 ft).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous pouvons donc conclure que si un caisson de graves est plac\u00e9 \u00e0 1,0 m devant un mur solide et massif, sa r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence rayonnant vers l'avant pr\u00e9sentera une att\u00e9nuation significative \u00e0 83 Hz. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne s'appelle \u00ab annulation des basses fr\u00e9quences par filtrage en peigne \u00bb et, malheureusement, l'\u00e9galisation du signal de sortie du caisson de graves ne r\u00e9sout rien, car le m\u00eame changement de niveau s'applique \u00e9galement au son r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi sur le mur. Parmi tous les caissons de graves de la S\u00e9rie KS, le mod\u00e8le ultra-compact KS112 qui poss\u00e8de un 12 pouces unique est celui qui poss\u00e8de la r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence la plus \u00e9tendue (-6 dB), de 41 \u00e0 108 Hz. Pour simplifier le calcul, nous allons prendre les valeurs de 40 et 110 Hz comme extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s de la bande passante des basses fr\u00e9quences de notre caisson de graves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00bc de longueur d\u2019onde \u00e0 40 Hz = <strong>2.15 m<\/strong> (7.0 ft)<\/li><li>\u00bc de longueur d\u2019onde \u00e0 110 Hz = <strong>0.78 m<\/strong> (2.56 ft)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En se basant sur les performances r\u00e9elles du caisson de graves dans les basses fr\u00e9quences, ces deux distances calcul\u00e9es fournissent les indications que nous recherchons. Comment utiliser ces r\u00e9sultats ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Afin d'\u00e9viter ces fortes annulations de basses fr\u00e9quences, nous pourrions d'abord choisir de placer le caisson de graves le plus pr\u00e8s possible du mur arri\u00e8re. Cela garantira que le niveau de sortie dans les basses fr\u00e9quences n'est pas compromis, puisqu\u2019il n'y a aucun espace derri\u00e8re le caisson de graves. Dans ce cas, cependant, rappelez-vous ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 expliqu\u00e9 dans un autre blog sur l'amplification des basses lorsqu'une enceinte est plac\u00e9e pr\u00e8s d'un mur. Dans ce cas, en utilisant les r\u00e9sultats trouv\u00e9s ci-dessus, nos caissons de graves peuvent \u00eatre plac\u00e9s soit<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"translation-block\">entre <strong>0 m <\/strong>(contre le mur arri\u00e8re) et <strong>0,78 m <\/strong>du mur arri\u00e8re (0 \u00e0 2,56 ft),<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">ou au-del\u00e0 de <strong>2,15 m <\/strong>(7,0 ft) du mur arri\u00e8re.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce faisant, vous vous assurez que la reproduction des basses fr\u00e9quences par le caisson de graves est sans alt\u00e9ration sur toute la bande passante. Si ce m\u00eame caisson de graves est plac\u00e9 n'importe o\u00f9 entre 0,78 m et 2,15 m, la sortie du caisson de graves manquera de d\u00e9finition, de punch et de dynamique avec, \u00e9ventuellement, quelques notes de basse compl\u00e8tement absentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Placement des caissons de graves cardio\u00efdes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Comme pour toute r\u00e8gle, il existe des exceptions. Les caissons de graves cardio\u00efdes, tels que le KS212C ou KS118 de QSC (utilisant au moins deux unit\u00e9s) ne rayonnent pas le son de mani\u00e8re omnidirectionnelle. Leur technologie int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de traitement num\u00e9rique du signal assure un traitement complexe qui fait que les transducteurs graves, dispos\u00e9s en miroir, interagissent \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re du bo\u00eetier pour produire l\u2019annulation d\u00e9sir\u00e9e, tout en interagissant simultan\u00e9ment \u00e0 l\u2019avant du bo\u00eetier pour produire le couplage souhait\u00e9. En cons\u00e9quence, leur directivit\u00e9 pr\u00e9sentent une forme cardio\u00efde (c\u0153ur) id\u00e9ale, avec un niveau de 15 dB plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 l'avant qu'\u00e0 l'arri\u00e8re. Le rayonnement sonore vers le mur arri\u00e8re, solide et massif, est presque inexistant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Cela dit, il est toujours n\u00e9cessaire de pr\u00e9voir une distance minimale entre le caisson de graves cardio\u00efde et le mur arri\u00e8re.
