Cependant, contrairement \u00e0 l'environnement contr\u00f4l\u00e9 d'un studio, le monde r\u00e9el pr\u00e9sente de nombreuses difficult\u00e9s pour obtenir des r\u00e9sultats satisfaisants sur le plan sonore avec une enceinte QSC ou toute autre enceinte. Les conditions cr\u00e9\u00e9es par la forme des pi\u00e8ces, la hauteur des plafonds, la pr\u00e9sence de murs r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissants ou absorbants sur le plan acoustique et bien d'autres facteurs se combinent pour compliquer le d\u00e9ploiement d'un syst\u00e8me de sonorisation. Bien placer les enceintes est un bon point de d\u00e9part pour relever les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019environnement. Cette s\u00e9rie en trois parties vise \u00e0 fournir des conseils utiles et simples pour obtenir la meilleure restitution sonore possible dans des lieux typiques, pour l'ensemble du public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ad\u00ad<strong>Gain dans les graves et espace de rayonnement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Commen\u00e7ons par le placement des enceintes, en rappelant quelques principes fondamentaux de la physique du son. Tout d'abord, le son se propage diff\u00e9remment selon les fr\u00e9quences. On observe qu'aux basses fr\u00e9quences (en dessous de 200 Hz), le niveau sonore augmente lorsque des murs durs limitent l'espace de rayonnement. Chaque fois que l'espace de rayonnement est r\u00e9duit de moiti\u00e9 par un mur proche de l\u2019enceinte, le niveau de pression acoustique est doubl\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une enceinte dont la r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence est lin\u00e9aire dans les graves en dessous de 200 Hz en champ libre (ex. votre K.2 avec le Preset 'Studio Monitor' s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9) produira jusqu\u2019\u00e0 6 dB SPL de plus si elle est plac\u00e9e contre un mur en dur. Une modification de l'espace de rayonnement affectera le niveau de sortie de l\u2019enceinte en dessous de 200 Hz.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Alors, que faut-il faire ? Assurez-vous que pour chaque enceinte de votre syst\u00e8me de sonorisation plac\u00e9e dans l'une des situations montr\u00e9es dans l\u2019illustration 2 (\u00e0 part \u00ab l'espace libre \u00bb) vous r\u00e9duisez le niveau de sortie des basses, en dessous de 200 Hz environ, de quelques d\u00e9cibels \u00e0 la fois jusqu'\u00e0 ce que la reproduction des basses redevienne claire, pr\u00e9cise et percutante. Pour cela, il faut soit utiliser l'\u00e9galiseur int\u00e9gr\u00e9 de l'enceinte (comme sur la S\u00e9rie K.2 de QSC) soit configurer un filtre \u00e0 plateau en dessous de 200 Hz dans votre table de mixage ; ce qui est tr\u00e8s facile \u00e0 faire avec n'importe quelle table de mixage num\u00e9rique QSC TouchMix. N\u2019oubliez pas aussi que des niveaux de basses fr\u00e9quences excessifs auront tendance \u00e0 renforcer certaines notes graves, \u00e0 engendrer des r\u00e9sonances et un son confus, sans v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9finition de la dynamique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notez que le terme \u00ab contre un mur \u00bb (rayonnement dans le demi-espace) s'applique \u00e0 une enceinte plac\u00e9e contre un mur sur un support ou mont\u00e9e sur un m\u00e2t au-dessus d'un caisson de graves, ainsi qu'\u00e0 une enceinte mont\u00e9e au plafond \u00e0 l'aide de supports de montage. De m\u00eame, une enceinte proche d'un coin, ou mont\u00e9e sur le mur et contre le plafond, rayonnera le son dans un quart d'espace. Moins susceptible de se produire avec un syst\u00e8me de sonorisation, si une enceinte est positionn\u00e9e dans un coin et contre le plafond, l'espace de rayonnement sera un 1\/8\u00e8me d\u2019espace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Annulation par le mur arri\u00e8re et placement des enceintes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Examinons un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne qui se produit en dessous de 200 Hz. Lorsqu'une certaine distance s\u00e9pare une enceinte d\u2019un mur rigide et lourd derri\u00e8re elle, \u00e0 la fr\u00e9quence o\u00f9 cette distance est \u00e9gale \u00e0 un quart de la longueur d'onde sonore \u00e9mise, la r\u00e9flexion sonore sur le mur est en opposition de phase par rapport au rayonnement direct de l\u2019enceinte. Ainsi, le son r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi par le mur \u00e0 cette fr\u00e9quence sp\u00e9cifique annulera le rayonnement direct de l\u2019enceinte de la m\u00eame fr\u00e9quence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour quelques calculs simples, rappelons la d\u00e9finition de la vitesse du son C (au niveau de la mer, \u00e0 21 degr\u00e9s Celsius (70 degr\u00e9s Fahrenheit) et dans des conditions atmosph\u00e9riques normale) est de 344 m\/s (1128 pi\/s) et est d\u00e9finie par C = f \u03bb, o\u00f9 f repr\u00e9sente la fr\u00e9quence et \u03bb la longueur d\u2019onde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette \u00e9quation nous permet de trouver facilement le quart de longueur d'onde pour une fr\u00e9quence donn\u00e9e. Par exemple, la note la plus basse sur une guitare standard (corde de mi grave \u00e0 vide) est d'environ 83 Hz. Le quart de la longueur d\u2019onde est donc de 1,0 m (3,3 ft).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous pouvons donc conclure que si une enceinte est plac\u00e9e \u00e0 1 m devant un mur solide et massif, sa r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence rayonnant vers l'avant pr\u00e9sentera une att\u00e9nuation significative \u00e0 83 Hz. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne s'appelle \u00ab annulation des basses fr\u00e9quences par filtrage en peigne \u00bb et, malheureusement, l'\u00e9galisation du signal de sortie de l\u2019enceinte ne r\u00e9sout rien, car le m\u00eame changement de niveau s'applique \u00e9galement au son r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi sur le mur. Pour ce calcul simple, consid\u00e9rons une enceinte active QSC K12.2, dont la r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quence s'\u00e9tend jusqu'\u00e0 45 Hz (-10 dB), et calculons le quart de longueur d'onde \u00e0 45 Hz, soit 1,9 m (6,25 pi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par cons\u00e9quent, si vous placez une enceinte QSC K12.2 \u00e0 une distance sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1,9 m du mur arri\u00e8re, vous garantirez qu'aucun ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d'annulation ne se produira et que toute la bande passante de l\u2019enceinte sera reproduite. On observe qu'une telle distance d\u00e9pend des caract\u00e9ristiques techniques r\u00e9elles de l\u2019enceinte. Une coupure plus basse impliquera une plus grande distance par rapport au mur du fond. En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, de telles distances sont facilement applicables, car les profondeurs de sc\u00e8ne typiques sont sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 2 m (6,56 pi), ce qui est \u00e9galement valable pour de nombreuses installations de cabines de DJ.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd'hui, dans certaines configurations live, les enceintes retard\u00e9es ou de \u00ab rappel \u00bb doivent \u00eatre plac\u00e9es pr\u00e8s du mur derri\u00e8re elles. Que faire dans de tels cas ? Pour \u00e9viter une forte annulation par le mur arri\u00e8re, vous devez placer l'arri\u00e8re de l\u2019enceinte aussi pr\u00e8s que possible du mur. Cela permet de s'assurer que la sortie basses fr\u00e9quences n'est pas compromise. Cependant, veillez \u00e0 ce que le renforcement des basses cr\u00e9\u00e9 par la proximit\u00e9 du mur soit correctement att\u00e9nu\u00e9, comme expliqu\u00e9 dans le chapitre pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir examin\u00e9 les espaces de rayonnement des enceintes et l'amplification des basses qui y est associ\u00e9e, ainsi que le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d'annulation par les murs arri\u00e8res, l'article suivant abordera les variables de base de l'acoustique des salles, expliquera la \u00ab distance critique \u00bb et la \u00ab loi de l'inverse du carr\u00e9 de la distance \u00bb afin d\u2019obtenir une couverture coh\u00e9rente des enceintes dans n'importe quelle salle.
