Par exemple, dans un club avec des plafonds bas, vous n\u2019aurez jamais une hauteur suffisante pour suspendre un syst\u00e8me de diffusion line array ; pour la sonorisation en plein air, l\u2019absence de murs apporte, elle aussi, son lot de contraintes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Espaces int\u00e9rieurs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il existe deux cat\u00e9gories d\u2019espaces int\u00e9rieurs : ceux construits en tenant principalement compte de l\u2019acoustique des salles (avec ou sans sonorisation) et tous les autres. M\u00eame dans les salles pour musiques amplifi\u00e9es g\u00e9r\u00e9es par des professionnels, la principale difficult\u00e9 est d\u2019obtenir le rapport son direct\/son r\u00e9verb\u00e9r\u00e9 le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 possible, sans rendre le son assourdissant. L\u2019absorption sonore est essentielle pour contr\u00f4ler la r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration et la ramener \u00e0 un niveau g\u00e9rable, que ce soit \u00e0 l\u2019aide de mat\u00e9riaux sp\u00e9cifiquement con\u00e7us pour l\u2019absorption acoustique, de mobilier mou et de rideaux \u00e9pais. Pour assurer une bonne couverture du public, il est conseill\u00e9 de r\u00e9partir les enceintes et d\u2019utiliser des enceintes sous balcon si n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les salles plus petites avec des plafonds bas, allier le son direct provenant de la sc\u00e8ne, une petite enceinte centrale sur sc\u00e8ne pour renforcer les voix pour les spectateurs proches, et une paire d\u2019enceintes sur pied de part et d\u2019autre de la sc\u00e8ne assure g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une couverture ad\u00e9quate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Espaces ext\u00e9rieurs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Si une r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration trop \u00e9lev\u00e9e peut rendre le son brouillon et peu intelligible en int\u00e9rieur, les espaces ext\u00e9rieurs manquent, quant \u00e0 eux, de r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration naturelle. Ajouter des effets de r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration artificielle peut \u00e9toffer les voix et les instruments susceptibles de manquer de relief, mais ne permet pas d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la couverture sonore.  Il faudra plut\u00f4t choisir des enceintes offrant une couverture horizontale et verticale ad\u00e9quate et s\u2019appuyer sur des enceintes lat\u00e9rales (side-fill) retard\u00e9es pour obtenir une couverture plus large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Couverture horizontale des enceintes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque vous r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissez \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d\u2019obtenir une couverture horizontale correcte des enceintes dans un espace, il est essentiel de d\u00e9terminer comment couvrir le public dans toute sa largeur, en s\u2019assurant que la couverture des enceintes se chevauche le moins possible dans la zone centrale. N\u2019oubliez pas que lorsque la couverture de deux enceintes se chevauche, le niveau de pression acoustique obtenu sera 3 dB plus fort que dans la zone couverte par une seule enceinte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>St\u00e9r\u00e9o ou mono ?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Si la reproduction st\u00e9r\u00e9o peut para\u00eetre \u00e9vidente pour la plupart des applications, ce n\u2019est pas toujours la configuration la plus appropri\u00e9e pour le son live. En fait, il y a deux raisons principales pour envisager de faire fonctionner un syst\u00e8me de sonorisation en mono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout d\u2019abord, selon la configuration du syst\u00e8me de sonorisation, l\u2019image st\u00e9r\u00e9ophonique peut varier consid\u00e9rablement en fonction de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 vous vous trouvez dans la salle. Les instruments dont les signaux se trouvent \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame gauche et \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame droite dans le mixage ne seront pas perceptibles correctement par les spectateurs se trouvant sur les c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la salle, contrairement \u00e0 ce que vous pourriez entendre avec un casque st\u00e9r\u00e9o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Par ailleurs, plus la s\u00e9paration st\u00e9r\u00e9o est prononc\u00e9e dans le mixage, plus le risque de cr\u00e9er des probl\u00e8mes de phase dans toute la salle est \u00e9lev\u00e9. Il se produit alors un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne appel\u00e9 filtrage en peigne, dans lequel diff\u00e9rentes bandes de fr\u00e9quences sont sensiblement amplifi\u00e9es ou att\u00e9nu\u00e9es selon l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 vous vous trouvez dans la salle (pour en savoir plus sur le filtrage en peigne, lisez notre blog : \u00ab Qu\u2019est-ce que le filtrage en peigne, et comment l\u2019\u00e9viter \u00bb).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Optimiser la couverture horizontale<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, les enceintes doivent toujours \u00eatre plac\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019avant de la sc\u00e8ne ou de la zone de spectacle, dirig\u00e9es vers le public et non vers les musiciens, afin de r\u00e9duire le risque de larsen avec les microphones et les instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examinons tout d\u2019abord une configuration st\u00e9r\u00e9o tr\u00e8s courante avec les enceintes plac\u00e9es de part et d\u2019autre de la sc\u00e8ne, orient\u00e9es face au public. Certains spectateurs auront donc l\u2019impression que le son provient d\u2019une enceinte en particulier et non de l\u2019artiste, ce qui d\u00e9tournera leur attention de la musique. Par ailleurs, tous les effets st\u00e9r\u00e9ophoniques (panoramique, r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration, etc.) seront d\u00e9form\u00e9s pour le public situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l'avant de la salle.<\/li><li>La zone b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d\u2019une image st\u00e9r\u00e9o correcte est \u00e9loign\u00e9e de la sc\u00e8ne et assez restreinte.<\/li><li>Les r\u00e9flexions directes des murs lat\u00e9raux \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 (distance a) affectent la zone d\u2019\u00e9coute qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une reproduction st\u00e9r\u00e9o. La plupart des spectateurs b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une couverture efficace des deux enceintes. Notez \u00e9galement que dans les emplacements d\u2019\u00e9coute excentr\u00e9s, un spectateur se trouvera dans l\u2019axe de l\u2019enceinte la plus \u00e9loign\u00e9e et hors axe de l\u2019enceinte la plus proche. Ainsi, le niveau de chaque enceinte semblera similaire dans la plupart des positions d\u2019\u00e9coute (alors que, dans le premier sch\u00e9ma, l\u2019enceinte la plus proche serait plus forte).<\/li><li>La distance entre chaque enceinte et les r\u00e9flexions des deux murs lat\u00e9raux est beaucoup plus grande (les distances aux murs de gauche et de droite ont maintenant doubl\u00e9 \u00e0 2a, par rapport au premier sch\u00e9ma). Tout d\u2019abord, cela signifie que les r\u00e9flexions des murs lat\u00e9raux sont plus faibles et semblent mieux \u00e9quilibr\u00e9es, ce qui se traduit par une image sonore plus stable. Ensuite, le rapport entre le son direct de l\u2019enceinte et les premi\u00e8res r\u00e9flexions est beaucoup plus important, ce qui r\u00e9duit le niveau global de r\u00e9verb\u00e9ration de la salle, ainsi que la zone du public susceptible d\u2019\u00eatre affect\u00e9e par ces r\u00e9flexions.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, la coupure n\u2019est pas aussi prononc\u00e9e que le sugg\u00e8rent les sch\u00e9mas ci-dessus, mais les effets globaux sont tout de m\u00eame assez perceptibles. L\u2019inclinaison optimale vers l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u00e9pend \u00e9videmment de la taille et de la forme de la salle, ainsi que de la directivit\u00e9 des enceintes utilis\u00e9es. L\u2019objectif est toujours d\u2019essayer de r\u00e9duire au maximum les sons r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir examin\u00e9 les espaces de rayonnement des enceintes et le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u2019annulation par le mur arri\u00e8re dans la partie 1, les variables de base de l\u2019acoustique des salles, la distance critique et la loi de l\u2019inverse du carr\u00e9 de la distance dans la partie 2 et les d\u00e9tails de la couverture horizontale des enceintes dans la partie 3, le dernier article, qui conclura cette s\u00e9rie, se concentrera sp\u00e9cifiquement sur la couverture verticale des enceintes.
