{"id":525,"date":"2018-04-02T22:25:12","date_gmt":"2018-04-02T22:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.qsc.com\/live-sound\/?p=525"},"modified":"2018-04-02T22:25:12","modified_gmt":"2018-04-02T22:25:12","slug":"lawrence-band-superficial-touchmix-sessions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qsc.com\/live-sound\/fr\/lawrence-band-superficial-touchmix-sessions\/","title":{"rendered":"Lawrence Band &#8211; Superficial &#8211; TouchMix Sessions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The band Lawrence\u00a0uses the TouchMix-30 Pro as their touring monitor mixer and also for private events where they run their own sound.\u00a0 \u00a0They\u00a0also use their TouchMix to record live performances to create original content for their fans.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s\u00a0a live performance video of their song &#8220;Superficial&#8221; recorded and mixed on the TouchMix-30 Pro.\u00a0 One take, no overdubs&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Lawrence: Superficial (Live) - TouchMix Sessions\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wIZ1e6rzHMk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Mixing the audio for the video:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The final mix for the video was created by playing the recorded tracks from the USB hard drive through the TouchMix-30 Pro, by pressing &#8220;Track&#8221; on each of the recorded channels on the Record\/Playback page.\u00a0 EQ, compression, Gate, Reverb, delay and other mixing elements were used to create the mix. The main stereo L\/R mix was then recorded by &#8220;Arming&#8221; the main L\/R channel.\u00a0 This final mix was then imported into the video editing software and synchronized with the video.<\/p>\n<p>The final mix was created by QSC&#8217;s TouchMix product manager Jon Graves.
