Der Nachteil: Ein Ger\u00e4teausfall hat nun weitreichendere Folgen. Er wirkt sich nicht nur auf einen einzigen Raum aus, sondern verursacht weitere Ausf\u00e4lle \u00fcber das gesamte zentralisierte System hinweg (R\u00e4ume, Stockwerke, ganze Standorte). Zun\u00e4chst einmal st\u00fctzt sich die Architektur von Q-SYS auf das Konzept einer nahtlosen Integration von Core und Peripherie. Der prim\u00e4re Core Prozessor des Systems fungiert als Host f\u00fcr die \u00fcber das Netzwerk verbundenen Peripherieger\u00e4te. Weiterhin bieten die bei allen Cores und fast allen modernen nativen Q-SYS Peripherieger\u00e4ten zweifach vorhandenen LAN-Anschl\u00fcsse eine einfache M\u00f6glichkeit, die gesamte Hardware redundant auszulegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aktivieren l\u00e4sst sich die Core Redundanz f\u00fcr einen Core in der Q-SYS Designer Software ganz einfach durch die Auswahl von \u201eYes\u201c im Eigenschaftsfeld \u201eIs Redundant\u201c und der Benennung seines redundanten Backup-Ger\u00e4ts. Jedes Audio-Peripherieger\u00e4t kann in der Q-SYS Designer Software so konfiguriert werden, dass es den LAN B-Anschluss als Backup verwendet (hierzu \u201eIs Network Redundant\u201c mit \u201eYes\u201c markieren). F\u00fcr jedes netzwerkredundante Audio-Peripherieger\u00e4t stellt der Core Prozessor redundante Audio-Signalwege zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese redundanten Streams sind immer aktiv und erm\u00f6glichen es Core und Peripherie, Audio-Streams von LAN B zu nutzen, falls bei LAN A ein Problem auftritt.
