Drummer Dave Weckl – Using the TouchMix on Chick Corea Elektric Band Tour

Legendary drummer Dave Weckl is using a couple of TouchMix compact digital mixers on his tour with the Chick Corea Elektric Band (Chick Corea: Keyboards, John Patitucci: Bass, Frank Gambale: Guitar, Eric Marienthal: Saxes, Dave Weckl: Drums). Dave is using a TouchMix-16 for his front of house drum mix, and monitoring the whole band (with in-ears) on stage, and a TouchMix-8 as a keyboard/extra input sub-mixer. Dave also tours with two KW122 powered loudspeakers and one KSub for his stage monitors.

Dave says, “The size, power and sound quality of the TouchMix is amazing. I would prefer one, 24-channel TouchMix, but using a TouchMix-16 and TouchMix-8 side by side is working beautifully.”
