IP Showcase: Experience Interoperability at NAB 2017
At the groundbreaking IP Showcase event during NAB 2017, April 24-27, MNA will partner with seven other associations – AES, AIMS, AMWA, EBU, IABM, and SMPTE to signal the industry-wide importance of promoting standards-based IP interoperability.
The new SMPTE ST 2110 standard is currently at an advanced draft stage and is widely projected as a fundamental development in a transition to full IP workflows in broadcast. The inclusion of AES67 in defining the audio element of SMPTE ST 2110 acknowledges the rapid and widespread adoption of AES67 in providing signal interoperability across the current leading IP-based audio networking protocols. The IP Showcase will demonstrate interoperability of four parts of the new SMPTE ST 2110 standard, including video, audio, control and metadata. Come experience this exciting new technology firsthand at the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, #N4824!
