NEW STUFF!
At our last Activate in June 2026, we announced exciting new collaboration solutions aimed at the high-performance workplace, including the introduction of the next-gen Q-SYS UC Compute Bundle.
Single-vendor for Design, Procurement, and Deployment
When we first launched the UC Compute Bundle in 2023, our goal was to make it simpler for Q-SYS customers to deploy Microsoft Teams Rooms in high-impact spaces. By collaborating with Lenovo, we were able to offer customers a certified for Microsoft Teams solution, featuring an enterprise trusted ThinkSmart compute and ThinkSmart controller that could be paired with the Q-SYS portfolio of certified for Teams devices to streamline workflows from design to deployment.
Next-generation Lenovo Compute
We are proud to announce the next-generation Q-SYS UC Compute Bundle G2, which includes the new Lenovo ThinkSmart Core G2 and Lenovo IP controller and is certified for Teams.
Built on a high-performance Intel Core Ultra 7 processing platform, it enables customers to take advantage of the full capabilities and features available to Microsoft Teams Rooms for Windows today, while ensuring room to grow as Microsoft continues to deliver powerful, AI-driven features.
In addition, the integrated dual network interfaces allow flexible integration of AV and UC into enterprise IT environments, eliminating the need for sourcing unqualified network adapters and complicating network integration.
Same Q-SYS, simpler deployment
The first-generation UC Compute Bundle included a bundled set of Q-SYS control licenses to enable Q-SYS control integration. We’ve since simplified our portfolio of licenses in response to our customers’ requests for simpler design, procurement, and deployment (all Q-SYS Cores now come with native control processing capabilities!).
We’ve also replaced the Q-SYS Control for Microsoft Teams Room app with the new Q-SYS Connect app, which will enable Q-SYS AV controls and UC call controls all on a single controller.
And as always, it is our goal to continue adding more certified for Teams devices to our growing Q-SYS portfolio. For more information on the Q-SYS UC Compute Bundle G2, please reach out to your local Q-SYS sales representative!
