Singer songwriter from the California Coastline, Peter Chung, recently produced a live performance video of his original song, “Back” using his TouchMix-8 compact digital mixer.
Check it out:
Here’s a brief overview of how Peter used the TouchMix-8 to record and mix the audio for his video:
- The TouchMix-8 recorded two tracks: vocal and guitar, direct to a USB hard drive connected to the TouchMix-8.
- Peter armed the tracks on the TouchMix, hit record, then performed his song while a friend video taped.
- Peter then played the two recorded tracks back through the mixer, adding channel presets for vocals and acoustic guitar along with some reverb using the FX Wizard and recorded the mix as a stereo WAV file.
- Peter edited the video, imported the audio file into his video software, sync’d the audio with the video, and rendered the video as a QuickTime video file for YouTube and beyond.
