I recently caught up with soul keyboardist Frank McComb at the Catalina Bar and Grill in Los Angeles where he was mixing and multi-track recording his trio, from the stage using the TouchMix-8 and K Family powered loudspeakers.
In the video below, Frank goes through his set up along with a short clip of one his original songs performed that evening. The audio for the song in the video was multi-track recorded on the TouchMix-8. Frank imported his multi-track wav files from his TouchMix hard disk to his home studio computer using the TouchMix DAW utility and mixed the tracks in Logic. He then sent me the stereo mix where I sync’d with the video I took on my phone. Enjoy!
